An Appeal for saving RTI Act in Bihar

Bihar, India

The Chief Minister of Bihar Mr. Nitish Kumar alias Sushashan Baboo holds the banner of Good Governance but his government has amended the RTI fee rules to create hurdles for the citizens. It will discourage the common man from seeking information. The cabinet has passed the amendment on 17-11-09. Now a petitioner can sought only one information in his application. The BPL people could get only 10 pages free of cost and they have to pay for the rest pages.
