Spiritual awakening for the Youth is the Need of the Hour : (The Nagaland Catholic Youth Movement, NCYM)

The Nagaland Catholic Youth Movement (NCYM) organized one day evaluation and planning for the diocesan youth activities and a two day retreat for the parish Youth Leaders of the Diocese at Mt. Tabor Retreat Center, Kohima from 10th -12th of September 2010.

Speaking on the occasion Rev. Fr. Carlus Vicar General, diocese of Kohima, Nagaland said that youth need to be spiritually awakened and oriented to meet the challenges of the materialistic society. Mr. Dony Peter from Jesus Youth Movement Bangalore animated the retreat. Rev. Fr. C.P.Anto, director, NCYM opened the session with the key note address where he congratulated the youth for their commitment, hard work and availability for the youth activities in the diocese. He also informed the youth regarding the objectives of the gathering and the forthcoming programmes of the NCYM. Mr. Robert Solo, president NCYM animated the evaluation and planning session.
